All of us have to go through the sate in our life when we experience many physical and hormonal changes. This stage is called puberty and none of us can avoid it. Puberty is followed by another crucial stage called adolescence. Those two stages are marked by many physical changes. One of those changes young people hate is acne.

First of all it is not true that only teenagers suffer from acne. Acne can affect people of any age and gender. There is no age limit for acne, so you can suffer from it even as an adult. However, teenagers are more prone to acne as they are going through some great hormonal changes.

What are therefore the causes of acne?

Acne is caused by bacteria, there is no question about that. It occurs when our pores get blocked with too much sebum produced in our skin glands.

As we all know, teenagers do not really pay attention to their hygiene and the care of their facial skin is also neglected. Because of this, acne outbreaks are more probable and happen much faster. Teens experience many hormonal changes and one of these changes involves extra sebum production. This might cause problems, especially when the skin is not takes care of properly and acne is what usually happens.

Acne is a common skin problem all around the world. Luckily, there are remedies that help us fight acne. These remedies include herbal solutions as well as chemical solutions. Acne, with proper treatments, can be cured, so one should not worry too much. Also, seeking the help on a dermatologist is something one who suffers form acne should consider.

Teenagers should also ask their parents for help, as they can provide them with some valuable advice.

Possibilities of getting acne are higher if one of the parents suffered from acne before.

No matter what the cause, make sure that you take a good care of your skin. Remember to wash and clean it properly, give it the right amount of treatment and if problems come do not let them to get worse.

“Some people think that the physical things define what’s within… So full of the superficial…”

It is an undeniable fact that we all want to look good. Especially when we see all those beautiful models in beauty and fashion magazines we feel that looking good is a must. So, how would you feel if your face was full of red oily bumps? I am sure you would not feel great!

When a person suffers from acne, he or she feels that there is something not right. Acne causes a lot of problems which are not limited to our appearance. There are much worse effects acne has on a person:

  • Frustration
  • Social withdrawal
  • Reduced self-confidence
  • Poor body image
  • Embarrassment
  • Higher unemployment
  • Feelings of depression
  • Decreased self-esteem
  • Anger
  • Preoccupation

There are three crucial points to keep in mind when looking for the best method to get rid of an acne outbreak:

Permanent solutions take time, there is no overnight remedy. take into account that your acne will not disappear overnight. You need to be patient and dedicated. You need to be patient when waiting for the result and dedicated so you stick to your treatment.

Methods that work for the others might not work for you. Do not assume that if the method is good for your friend it will also work for you. It is not that simple. We all have a unique skin type so you will have to most probably try a lot of treatments before choosing one that is best for you.

You might also have to ask a dermatologist for advice. It is not time for experiments. Acne is a sensitive skin problem so it needs subtle methods of treatment. Ask experts for help as otherwise you might end up with condition that is even worse.

Society prefers those who are good-looking. There is no need to have an ideal look in order to meet the standards of today’s society. We have to be confident and it could be achieved if one feels comfortable with him or herself. This is accomplished when you get the healthy and acne-free skin you desire.

As we are all aware of, there are emotional effects caused by acne. More than those obvious red marks on face, there’re effects of acne that could not just be healed by any cream or acne solution. Well, no doctor or any expert dermatologist could provide you with the best possible answer to this acne problem instantly.

According to studies, acne is very common when one is on his teenage years. For teenagers experiencing the pains of acne, it is very difficult to face the social impacts of acne. There are these marks of shame, depression and even self-pity. As a teenager’s parent who faces this problem, you could help them. What could you do? You could do a plenty.

Remind your kid that this is a temporary.

As a guardian, you need to be there and give the encouragement to your child. You would probably see him or her so down due to the way people and criticisms faced by them. Tell that it will not last for long and that it would be successfully surpassed. Never stop to explain the importance of moving on despite the negative reactions from others for their words are not that important at all.

Bring your teen to a good dermatologist

Do not wait for your teen’s acne problem to get worse before you go and see a dermatologist. You need to find the dermatologist who deserves your trust. Be with your teen as you have visits to the dermatologist. Also, help your teen follow the reminders and instructions of the dermatologist.

Guide your child to go in a right way

There are some things or acts that may worsen acne. See to it that you are near your teen to remind that acts are not right to do and it would just cause bad effects. Explain the cause and effect of acne problems and be sure t answer questions that your teen has.

Boost your teen’s confidence

Self confidence plunges down when all those mocks and teases arise. The effect to your teen would be bitter. Be generous with praises but do not use them just to flatter. Tell your teen about how wonderful his or her talent is. This would be a lift to his/her morale.

As a parent of the teen, you could help out your teen feel better through the misjudgments of the society towards people with acne. This is just a stage; it would surely be put to an end. Be there and give support to your child like no one could.

Types of Acne

This is an overview of the different types of acne, symptomatic triggers, and how to potentially treat it. There’s a lot more to acne because people suffer from different kinds, and everyone who has it must deal with it in their own way.

There are actually many different types of acne. Some people may not even notice they have acne because it is such a minor blemish that it is very hard to see, especially if people use make-up regularly. Other people have acne that is so bad it looks like a disease of the skin and can actually cause scarring. Knowing what type of acne a person has is a very important first-step to determining how it can be treated and if further medical attention from a dermatologist is needed.
The most common of the different types of acne are whiteheads and blackheads. They are only about the size of a person’s pores on their skin because whiteheads are sebum or pus and blackheads are dirt-filled pores. Although time and time again, you are told not to squeeze the pimples, most of us are guilty of this. If you clean your face first with an antibacterial soap and only squeeze gently, most people can get away with it.
There are also eruptions that people get, which are actually of two different types of acne. There is one type of acne that is just a small, puffed out red mark on the skin. These can’t be popped and almost look like raised cuts or pricks. The type of pimple that people tend to pop is aggravated whiteheads that are not only swollen but have also built up more of the oil and sebum that makes up a whitehead. Most eruptions will go away over time with proper care and treatment such as facial cleansers.
Some people suffer from a very serious form of acne, that causes cysts, nodules, and even red aggravated skin that looks like a burn. This type of acne is usually genetic and definitely requires the attention of a medical professional. This type usually needs to be treated with medication and won’t go away on its own. Some people actually have to deal with this more-serious acne for the rest of their lives, but a doctor can help with preventing scarring and reducing the outward appearance of the acne.

What is acne?

Acne is a term used generally too easy, the word “acne”, in reality, mostly been used to define the skin where forms a deep lesions and cysts and nodules are present. Strange pimples or Whitehead does not really represent to acne such as, but not treated properly to avoid infection of the skin itself and to prevent escalation, when the cyst and injuries are defined for start up. Although medical science is inclined to believe they have all the answers to these questions, it’s just the fact that even medical science still holds the answer to all health problems – including acne – and many areas where science does not know the answer. Some refer to clogged pores – the black and white dots and buttons – such as acne, but as mentioned, it is really just a cyst and deep nodes. This is the kind of problem, which often leads to serious permanent scarring, although less severe, problems may also leave scars. A point is now to worry about acne, pimples and other skin defects, in each case, the situation is depressing, Cracking, scratching or permanent, to accumulate and the proposals could lead to permanent scarring caused. These steps will certainly lead to increased inflammation and tissue damage – scarring of the signal occurs. Need self-control and discipline – to keep your hands away from skin problems – rather than visit your dermatologist or esthetician training.

How does acne form? Acne pimples

Question: “What is caused by acne? says millions of people suffer from acne and skin problems – and try to answer this question, we have compiled this report. One of the main causes of acne is the overproduction of sebum (oil), skin, where they had a disability together (usually the price) of dead skin so that the oil contained in the follicle and cause acne . Although the alpha and beta hydroxy acids are useful in the fight against acne, helping to block the pores in the outer tube, do not use weapons in the fight against acne, and d other factors that contribute to acne.

Hormones and their importance for acne

The most important place in acne manifests itself before the media area, which is 4 to 10 times more sebum (oil) glands than any other body part, they are located. From the onset of puberty, the production of hormones that stimulate the development of fatty glands. It is available to the male hormone testosterone that men and women controlled. The testosterone is dihydrotestosterone by the enzyme type I 5a-reductase changed. Today, also stimulates cell growth – particularly the hair cells – causing an acceleration of hair growth and accelerated growth of cells in the sebaceous glands. These combined measures can create a surplus of oil flow, follicles and thickening of the walls, which can cause blockage in the follicle. Block contains residues of the cell and waste, triglycerides, waxes – what micro-comedones. Explain the process and the appearance of acne, we need a diagram to illustrate the fact that you can help. Above is the first step in the development of acne, and exempt development must remove barriers in the follicle and prevents the normal flow of sebum is determined.

Bacterial infection and inflammation

Environment created by the micro-comedo promotes the growth of bacteria – especially propionebacteria: P. and P. acnes grainy. P. acnes bacteria in 75% of P. granulosum, and comedones are present in a severe form of acne today. Propionebacteria are Gram-positive and anaerobic fermentation, glucose and production of lipase, triglycerides, which hydrolyze the comedones, also including neuraminidase, the walls collapsed follicle – a violation of the release. When flowing, the rupture of the follicle wall and the contents can cause inflammation and raise the environmental movement. P. acnes causes growth, chemotaxis, which attract neutrophils and lymphocytes. Neutrophils and lymphocytes in the follicle wall and release to kill bacteria hydrolase – but even if this action is to try to neutralize infection also caused by scar tissue and injury. At this stage, the acne is highly visible, with redness, papules and pustules. Another factor that is important for the development of acne, bacteria, staphylococci and corynebacteria. Having a yeast infection – in particular the yeast Pityrosporum – process worse after he became (Pityrosporum folliculitis related). In practice – as whiteheads, blackheads and other more severe reactions of the skin, the symptoms show, mostly since the beginning of puberty, it is important to bacteria (control yeast) infections continue prevent adult acne – in particular P. acnes.

Schematic development of acne

The causes of acne and skin problems: Overproduction of oil and clog Gateway follicles in the skin, because the higher growth of skin cells will cause problems in early puberty, through the production of hormones. Whitehead and small cysts: The combination of the three factors mentioned above, the apearance of closed comedones (whiteheads) and small cysts. Blackheads and open comedones: They then pull out the blackheads or open comedones and inflammation is controlled by mechanisms of defense corps Vesicles, papules and nodules However, when the blocked follicle, trapping the waste – are cell fragments, triglycerides, waxes – ground pork for the bacteria and yeast infection. This medium is growing in blisters, papules and nodules.

Treat acne and skin problems

A comprehensive approach must be implemented gradually to avoid more severe acne acne increasingly aggressive and acne when the current treatment program should be established for help solve the problem. There are three important parameters that must be considered: 1st hyperseborrhoea (for the production of sebum – the oil) 2nd hyperkeratosis of the infundibulum (blockage of the follicle and construction waste in the skin) The 3rd bacterial growth (bacteria and yeast infections and swelling along)
